Hi !

If you are a market manager, (and especially the manager of the “Fifa Round 2” market), please note, that when you close a share with a binary outcome, you may set the close price to either 100 or 0, depending on the outcome of the event in real world. For example, as Sweden qualified for round 2, its final price should be $100 (and not $62.30 as it is today)

For example, refer to the following closed market:
http://www.inklingmarkets.com/market/show/55
The closed price for each team is $0, except for the derby winner, which is worth $100.
On the other hand, for Fifa Round 2 market
http://www.inklingmarkets.com/market/show/227
The final prices were kept at the last trade price. So good predictors are not rewarded, they just get what they paid.

So, managers, take care when you close shares.
Thanks for reading :)

...And manager of Fifa Round 2, can you fix this please ? :)

Also, when you’re initially pricing markets, make sure to price them out logically… This market should have started with EVERY team being at 50 rather then 0…
