I’ve just seen people create markets with expiries that are literally decades into the future.. i.e. one was “will the be a cure for diabetes in 2020” and another was “when will man walk on the moon next”. Now I’m all for other people creating markets in order to bring people onto the site etc etc but my question / query / discussion point is “Why create markets that will tie up your inklings for a decade or more???”

I know you can cash out at any time etc etc but surely shorter running markets would create more liquidity and a more interesting marketplace for everybody…

Anybody else agree or disagree? I am willing to be corrected !
