The three basic strategies noted in your profile pretty much sums it up. Oh, and that luck thing as well. As in lucky to be on line at the right time or lucky that no one else figured out how to play a certain market. On the latter point, much to my surprise, I made 100,000 inkles on the baseball hall of fame market. While I was an “early trader”, at times it seemed I was the “only trader”. Frankly, the results were highly predictable with just a little effort and I was stunned that there were so few other traders…and so many inkles left on the table at the end of the market. It seems, however, that many traders prefer to trade on done deals rather make predictions…a predictable result actually assuming people are trying to get to the top 10 from the initial 5000…and something I suspect both of us have done.

It isn’t hard to figure out how AJ made his 700,000 inkles in less than a week if you put your mind to it. But that is his story to tell. I will say though, that his spectacular rise did inspire me to do a little of the same just to see if that would drive me to #2 or if you were doing the same.
